It's Time to Make a Move.

"Quick, get up!" he said, and the chains fell off Peter's wrists.

Hello sis! I pray that your week has been great and that today will be even better. This morning our devotion/empowHERment moment is coming from Acts 12:6-11.

From the scripture above found in Acts 12:7, we realize that Peter's act of obedience caused the chains to fall off of him meaning he had the ability to move without hindrance. In the same way, a sudden move can cause a freedom we have never experienced. If we continue reading in Acts 12:10, we will also see that as they passed the guards and came to an iron gate (another barrier) it opened by itself. Can someone say "motion activated"?! Peter's first act of obedience set him free to move but his continuing to walk in obedience gave him access beyond the gates of the prison.

What move has God been asking you to make but you've allowed things to keep you bound? Or maybe you've done the first thing and failed to continue in obedience. This is the call to keep moving! Keep walking in obedience because there's so much more beyond what you see.
